London Block Exchange(LBX) adds Bitcoin Cash(BCH) and Ethereum Classic(ETC)

London Block Exchange (LBX), UK’s only multi-cryptocurrency exchange, announced 2nd May 2018 in a press release and said that it has added Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Ethereum Classic (ETC) to its trading list.

The move has made LBX the only exchange to offer GBP pairing with Bitcoin cash and Ethereum Classic. These new additions make London Block Exchange (LBX)  list to six cryptocurrencies which are Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Ethereum Classic (ETC).

Ripple(XRP) was added to the exchange at the end of March 2018. The addition of 3 coins has made LBX promise of rolling out multiple new coins successful and plans to add new cryptocurrencies on a regular basis.

Benjamin Dives the CEO of LBX started in a press release “Since the launch, we have proven incredibly popular among U.K. crypto-enthusiasts, given our low-cost trading and excellent application….we are now strengthening the fact we offer more coins than most popular exchanges and are listening to the community in deciding which coins we will list.”

On 2nd May Bitcoin Cash gained almost 8{7ac5c3bf57b95c89d20da1c585f68f2fe47644be0187dccece42864a092023b1} after the exchange said it would support trading of BTC

Bitcoin Cash Hard Fork

A fork is when a new version of the cryptocurrency is paired off from the original and is usually an upgrade to the original version, both these new coins have a history with forks.

In August 2017 Bitcoin Cash was formed after forking the original Bitcoin. Ethereum the 2nd biggest cryptocurrency by market capitalization was formed after forking Ethereum classic.  

On May 15, 2018, Bitcoin Cash is set to fork and will bring a new cryptocurrency called Bitcoin ABC. ABC is the acronym for Adjustable Blocksize Cap where the fork will increase the block size of one block to 32MB from the current block size of 8MB of Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin has a block size of 1MB.

LBX opened in November 2017 and offered over-the-counter (OTC) trades to its users. Currently, it is onboarding retail customers to its application. LBX provides its users world-class customer support and follows strict know your customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) protocols.
